Base Salary
$104k - $153k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance AI-enabled enterprise applications across the database, middleware, and front-end layers.
- Build and optimize features using large language models, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted or agentic workflows.
- Develop scalable systems and components within larger architectures and serve as a module-level design authority.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor, guide, support, and train junior software engineers.
- Plan and document unit testing and define integration and performance testing strategies.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and establish reliability, observability, and performance improvement practices.
- Provide Level III production support and collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, product owners, and other cross-functional partners.
- Gather and document requirements, perform fit/gap analysis, translate business processes into technical requirements, and design business solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in software analysis, development, enhancement, and support in mid-to-large corporate environments.
- At least 5 years of experience with .NET, C#, SQL, and React or Angular.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing systems for mid-to-large-scale production applications.
- At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and deploying enterprise solutions in cloud environments.
- At least 1 year of experience developing generative AI applications and agentic workflows.
- At least 2 years of experience mentoring and leading junior software engineers.
- At least 2 years of experience managing Git and Azure DevOps repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and container registries.
- Proficiency in full-cycle software development tools and practices, .NET web application architectures, database concepts, networking concepts, and advanced SQL.
- Experience managing multiple enterprise-wide project plans and meeting deliverables.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience creating complex process flow diagrams and system workflows and validating requirements with business stakeholders.
