Base Salary
$143k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized services that process real-time events, data, and network telemetry from public clouds.
- Design, defend, implement, deploy, and operate distributed services and critical subsystems throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Write primarily in Go and work with data pipelines using SQL and other interfaces.
- Own code quality through developer, functional, and integration testing.
- Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to clarify requirements and solve customer problems.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree.
- At least 2 years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP at the API or programming level.
- Experience with Go and SQL.
- REST API client experience.
- Experience in a Unix/Linux programming environment.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
- Experience delivering containerized services is desired; networking and security controls experience is a plus.
- CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible experience is nice to have.
- A master’s degree is a plus.
