Responsibilities
- Architect, design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient Google Cloud infrastructure.
- Apply Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code for resource provisioning and configuration management.
- Develop, optimize, and standardize secure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Workflows.
- Automate operational tasks and develop scripts and tools for infrastructure automation, monitoring, and deployment.
- Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps practices and improve application performance, stability, and release reliability.
- Implement security, compliance, and data-protection controls across infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Support Docker and Kubernetes environments, including cluster administration, deployments, scaling, and Terraform-based cluster management.
- Develop and maintain Helm charts and manage service-mesh capabilities for traffic management, security, and observability.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, production support, and on-call assistance for high-availability systems.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience.
- Expert-level Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
- Significant hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience, including relevant certifications.
- Experience with enterprise security management, GCP Secret Manager, Cloud IAM, and Security Command Center.
- Deep experience defining and optimizing CI/CD workflows with GitHub Workflows.
- Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience, including optimized images, multi-stage builds, cluster administration, deployments, and scaling.
- Proficiency developing and maintaining Helm charts, including templates, hooks, packaging, and release management.
- Experience with GCP Operations, New Relic, Prometheus, and Grafana for monitoring and incident detection.
- Hands-on experience with Istio or similar service-mesh technologies.
- Advanced scripting or software development skills in at least one of Python, Go, Java, Bash, or JavaScript.
- Experience with AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Experience with Ansible or Chef is a plus.
- Strong enterprise software development, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
