Responsibilities
- Maintain public cloud infrastructure using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code automation using Terraform, ARM Templates, or similar tools.
- Build and maintain IT automation using Ansible, Chef, or comparable tools.
- Manage container-based applications and orchestration using Helm, Kubernetes, Docker, or similar technologies.
- Support build, delivery, and deployment using Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain observability and monitoring across IT platforms using Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, Datadog, or similar tools.
- Oversee planned outages, assess root-cause analyses, and assist with major upgrades to minimize downtime.
- Manage large IT platform services spanning multiple availability regions and collaborate with product owners and technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience with one or more public cloud platforms, with Azure preferred but not required.
- At least five years of Windows and Linux experience.
- At least two years of experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Elastic, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace, or comparable observability platforms.
- Experience running or managing large IT platform services across multiple availability regions.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or a similar container orchestration platform.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Comfort administering both Linux and Windows environments.
- Public Cloud Azure or AWS professional-level certification is preferred.
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python is valued.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging systems such as the ELK stack, Grafana, or Icinga2 is valued.
