Responsibilities
- Design and evolve automated tests for business-critical behavior, integrations, and data integrity.
- Create test plans, execute tests, document results, and analyze test output across hardware, software, and networking systems.
- Use AI tools to accelerate test ideation, exploratory testing, regression testing, edge-case testing, and automation scaffolding.
- Review AI-generated test artifacts for correctness, completeness, maintainability, hallucinations, and misleading coverage.
- Partner with Product and Development to improve testability and clarify requirements.
- Contribute to CI/CD quality gates and release confidence.
- Improve brittle tests using resilient or self-adjusting automation patterns and reduce long-term maintenance costs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in QA.
- Experience using AI tools to generate test ideas, test cases, or automation scaffolding.
- Ability to iteratively refine AI-generated tests for correctness, completeness, and maintainability.
- Experience using AI to accelerate exploratory, regression, or edge-case testing.
- Ability to identify hallucinated, misleading, or incomplete AI-generated test coverage.
- Strong understanding of coverage versus confidence and when automation creates false safety.
- Experience acting as the final quality gate for AI-assisted outputs.
- Ability to improve brittle tests toward resilient or self-adjusting patterns.
- Business-level ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
