Base Salary
$179k - $269k/yr
Responsibilities
- Produce, test, and maintain Board Support Packages for multiple platforms.
- Develop a custom platform bootchain and maintain the custom Linux OS running on automated-driving platforms.
- Implement secure boot mechanisms and recovery boot workflows.
- Manage CVEs throughout the platform lifecycle.
- Configure IPC mechanisms for communication between real-time and application domains.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to deliver the product.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or a PhD.
- Experience with Yocto/OpenEmbedded, Buildroot, or similar Linux packaging technologies.
- Experience developing Linux device drivers for Ethernet, GPU, PCIe, UFS, eMMC, OSPI, or similar devices.
- Bootloader experience with technologies such as U-Boot or UEFI.
- Experience with Secure Boot, dm-verity, fscrypt, and other production-security technologies.
- Strong experience developing embedded applications and systems using C++.
- Technical leadership experience in automotive or related fields taking products to production.
- Strong communication, organizational, and soft leadership skills.
- Preferred: 5+ years designing and developing system-level or embedded software in software-heavy projects.
- Preferred: experience with OP-TEE Trusted Applications, Arm Trusted Firmware, multi-processor or heterogeneous SoC platforms, gtest, developer-experience tooling and infrastructure, Python, Bazel, and Docker.
