Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and production support for global Oracle database environments.
- Install, configure, manage, patch, and upgrade database environments.
- Perform database backup and recovery, refreshes, monitoring, and SQL performance tuning.
- Resolve complex production issues through root cause analysis and documented resolution options.
- Provide off-hours support for critical production incidents as required.
- Automate infrastructure components using scripting, coding, and automation tools.
- Participate in the Change Advisory Board and provide governance guidance for database changes.
- Identify and drive improvement efforts across the database portfolio.
- Monitor multi-cloud developments and collaborate with stakeholders on technology strategies.
- Educate and guide onshore and offshore third-party support teams and application support teams.
- Lead international teams across initiatives spanning business lines, geographic regions, time zones, and cultures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- At least 7 years of experience working in IT as an Oracle Database Administrator.
- Experience serving in pivotal database administration and support roles across multiple database technologies.
- Knowledge of Oracle RAC, Grid Infrastructure, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Linux scripting.
- Experience with database and SQL monitoring and performance tuning.
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience in manufacturing or a similar industry and understanding of ITAR, PCI, PHI, HIPAA, NIST, and SOX-related data security requirements.
- Leadership, organizational, planning, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget and drive projects to successful conclusion.
- Strong English communication skills, presentation skills, creative thinking, enthusiasm, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
