Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications, APIs, and microservices supporting the IPE platform.
  • Build scalable backend services, reusable enterprise integration patterns, and automation solutions.
  • Develop AI-powered workflows using LLM platforms, MCP integrations, vector search, and agent orchestration frameworks.
  • Build agent capabilities for incident triage, root cause analysis, automation recommendations, and operational insights.
  • Implement multi-agent orchestration, intelligent routing, and workflow execution capabilities.
  • Improve platform architecture, scalability, resiliency, performance, governance, traceability, and security controls.
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy technology projects and programs.
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives, act as an escalation point, and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
  • Participate in production support, incident analysis, operational readiness, and collaboration with engineering, product, SRE, architecture, and operations stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience developing enterprise-scale applications and services.
  • Strong programming experience in one or more of Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies, containers, and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of source control, automated testing, DevOps practices, and software delivery pipelines.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working within Agile development teams and participating in production support, incident analysis, and operational readiness activities.
  • Preferred experience building AI/ML-enabled applications, generative AI solutions, RAG architectures, or agent-based systems.
  • Preferred experience integrating enterprise AI platforms, LLMs, vector databases, and MCP-based ecosystems.
  • Preferred experience with ServiceNow APIs, workflows, enterprise automation platforms, event-driven architectures, and messaging solutions such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Preferred knowledge of SRE principles, operational excellence, incident management, reliability engineering, observability, monitoring, workflow orchestration, and highly available enterprise platforms.
