Base Salary
$237k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define Crusoe's BMC architecture and stack strategy.
- Lead BMC bring-up on new server platforms, including kernel and device management.
- Own the BMC build, CI/CD, signing, and release pipeline.
- Drive BMC security architecture and respond to firmware CVEs.
- Manage the BMC technical relationship with ODM and OEM partners.
- Author BMC sections of platform requirements and drive architecture reviews.
- Build out BMC-driven telemetry and observability for fleet operations.
- Define SLOs and update/rollback strategies for BMC firmware.
- Hire and grow the BMC engineering team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of firmware engineering experience with deep BMC expertise.
- Hands-on experience with a production BMC stack like OpenBMC or AMI MegaRAC.
- Demonstrated experience leading BMC bring-up on new server platforms.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ on embedded Linux.
- Familiarity with BMC management protocols such as IPMI 2.0 and Redfish.
- Experience debugging BMC-to-host interfaces.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
