Base Salary

$250k - $300k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build platform services for RBAC, tenancy, workflow orchestration, policy evaluation, and state reconciliation.
  • Define the API gateway, resource model, and versioned contracts used by fleet, SRE, and product teams.
  • Build SDKs, workflow templates, golden paths, a developer portal, and micro frontend infrastructure for self-service adoption.
  • Develop the inventory and topology graph and pipelines that reconcile intended infrastructure state with reality.
  • Build site, GPU, and network agents plus the event bus for reliable telemetry and command delivery.
  • Deliver fleet automation for provisioning, firmware upgrades, validation, deployment, repair, RMA, capacity, power, thermal, and Day-2 operations.
  • Operate the platform in production and collaborate with embedded, fleet, and production engineers to turn operational issues into extensible services.

Requirements

  • 10+ years building distributed systems, control planes, or infrastructure platforms.
  • Strong software engineering skills in Go, Python, or Rust.
  • Experience building platforms consumed by other engineers, including public or internal APIs, SDKs, or developer tooling with real adoption.
  • Depth in workflow or orchestration engines such as Temporal, event-driven architectures, graph data models, policy or rules engines, or reconciliation-based control loops such as Kubernetes operator patterns.
  • Experience operating production systems and carrying a pager for a platform on which other teams depend.
  • Systems thinking across the hardware and software boundary.
  • Bonus: experience with internal developer platforms, API gateways, service catalogs, Backstage-style portals, or micro frontend architectures.
  • Bonus: experience with GPU or bare-metal fleet infrastructure, DCGM, Redfish/IPMI, firmware lifecycle, high-cardinality observability, InfiniBand, RoCE, or AI agents for infrastructure triage and remediation.
