Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, document, publish, maintain, and operate reliable and secure web applications.
- Design and deploy highly available, scalable, maintainable, monitored, and secured cloud solutions on AWS.
- Implement APIs, serverless components, messaging integrations, and NoSQL database solutions.
- Build automated unit, functional, security, load, and performance testing.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across development, QA, and production environments.
- Prototype innovative technical solutions and translate business requirements into technical requirements.
- Coach, mentor, and enable other developers.
- Manage application work across demand management, development, support, and the full development lifecycle.
- Provide roadmap guidance, business insights, customer-focused solutions, and links to Airbus Customer Services Digital and Aircraft Systems organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
- 5–6 years of software development experience.
- At least 1 year of hands-on Node.js experience and strong React, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and HTML5 skills.
- Experience with server-side development, NoSQL database design, API and RESTful web-service implementation, and AWS cloud solutions.
- Experience with unit testing and test-driven development, plus exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, and GitHub.
- Knowledge of SSH, SFTP, WebSockets, Kafka, or RabbitMQ is advantageous.
- GraphQL and Docker experience are advantageous.
- Java 2+ experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA is desirable.
- Python, Nexus, Artifactory, Maven, VersionOne, Splunk, Ansible, and OpenSearch knowledge is desirable.
- Experience with aircraft systems and French language skills are additional advantages.
- Strong communication, integrity, compliance awareness, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
