Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive web applications using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and React for investment banking and brokerage operations.
- Lead front-end features through technical design, coding, testing, and deployment while maintaining enterprise and regulatory standards.
- Guide and mentor developers on React component design, state management, performance optimization, accessibility, and secure coding.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, operations, backend, infrastructure, cybersecurity, compliance, and support teams.
- Review code and technical designs, define interfaces and data flows, and document architectural decisions and deployment procedures.
- Manage estimation, sprint planning, task prioritization, progress tracking, and continuous improvement activities.
- Analyze production incidents, user feedback, and performance metrics to implement reliability and usability improvements.
- Define unit, integration, and regression testing approaches and work with quality teams to validate functionality and compliance.
- Support modernization initiatives, including refactoring legacy front-end modules, adopting modern React patterns, and introducing automation.
Requirements
- Five to eight years of overall development experience building complex front-end or web applications.
- Strong foundation in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and React.
- Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and accessibility.
- Familiarity with front-end build systems, testing frameworks, and version control platforms.
- Ability to diagnose complex system interactions and propose pragmatic solutions aligned with business goals.
- Effective communication with technical and nontechnical stakeholders across distributed teams.
- Experience with hybrid work models and distributed collaboration.
- Investment banking and brokerage domain knowledge, including trade lifecycle management and client servicing, is preferred.
