Base Salary
$200k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Engineer backend services with high quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and leadership to define system evolution.
- Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of existing backend services.
- Investigate and propose ideas to improve user experience.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes.
- Participate in on-call rotation to troubleshoot and debug incidents.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and delivering SaaS products.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Golang.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like pytest.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for reliability and operational excellence.
- Ability to scope work and coordinate cross-functionally.
- Experience with software development best practices.
- Proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
