Responsibilities
- Design software architecture and develop clean, efficient applications.
- Own and maintain data pipelines and analytics infrastructure.
- Design and orchestrate ETL workflows using Apache Airflow.
- Manage PostgreSQL data stores and run production Python jobs on Linux.
- Build and maintain FastAPI services exposing data and machine-learning capabilities.
- Collaborate with data science teams to productionize models.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute software development lifecycle tasks.
- Automate tasks through scripting and appropriate tools.
- Review, debug, validate, and test code and applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve products.
- Document development phases, monitor systems, and keep software current.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
- Extensive experience in software development, scripting, and project management.
- Experience with system monitoring tools such as New Relic and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python.
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Analytical problem-solving ability and capacity to work independently.
- BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree.
- Experience with machine-learning algorithms is nice to have.
