Base Salary
$146k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Break larger projects into tasks and deliver them in multiple phases with support from the team tech lead and manager.
- Build and improve high-traffic consumer web experiences and contribute to experimentation, instrumentation, marketing integrations, attribution, and measurement.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, Analytics, and Data Engineering on technical decisions, constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
- Create and monitor metrics, escalate issues, and support artifact availability, keep-the-lights-on work, and on-call efforts.
- Participate in team growth activities, including interviewing and supporting peers and stakeholders through the product development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 1.5 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience shipping web applications using declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Experience working with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Ability to translate problems or business scenarios into solutions spanning multiple software components and implement clear, well-tested, extensible code.
- Comfort navigating large codebases, debugging other engineers’ code, and providing feedback through code reviews.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
