Responsibilities
- Build scalable AI capabilities and secure, reliable solutions for Fidelity Wealth.
- Turn ideas into working prototypes and production-ready solutions.
- Partner with business, product, architecture, data, and platform teams.
- Lead meaningful software design discussions and contribute to scalable, resilient architecture.
- Own issues and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Mentor engineers and maintain strong quality engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of software engineering experience, or a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
- Strong technical judgment and experience with modern programming languages, frameworks, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns for scalable, resilient systems.
- Proven experience with at least one modern language, such as Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience using GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or Claude.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
- Experience mentoring engineers, owning issues, and delivering end-to-end solutions.
