Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships for custom integrations and implementations.
  • Serve as a technical expert on SmartRent products and identify solutions for clients.
  • Lead project planning, customer adoption initiatives, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Analyze client requirements and design, review, and refine effective system solutions.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, account management, and field operations teams.
  • Participate in client meetings, communicate technical solutions, and gather feedback.
  • Support account expansion, strategic planning, and Quarterly Business Reviews with account teams.
  • Manage internal ticketing queues dedicated to client support.
  • Create policies, procedures, and best-practice documentation.
  • Use AI tools and prompt engineering to improve research, documentation, technical communication, and client deliverables.
  • Champion AI literacy and help develop team-wide AI standards and guidelines.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, Sales Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from planning and scheduling through feedback collection and delivery.
  • Experience interacting with C-level clients or other key stakeholders.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables, and the ability to communicate findings from large data sets.
  • Ability to efficiently manage and prioritize a ticketing queue using Jira and Intercom.
  • Experience using a CRM, specifically Salesforce.
  • Preferred experience in multifamily housing or PropTech.
  • Preferred experience at a SaaS or startup company.
  • Familiarity with SQL, HTML or other common programming languages, APIs, webhooks, cloud technologies, and software architecture design.
  • Experience performing User Acceptance Testing.
  • Familiarity with Azure, Google Cloud, Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, large language models, and professional prompt engineering applications.
