Base Salary
$69k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable applications and services using Python and/or Java.
- Design and implement features, APIs, and integrations across the application stack.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold coding standards and software quality practices.
- Diagnose and resolve software defects, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability through enhancements and refactoring.
- Collaborate with Product, Network Engineering, Architecture, and Operations teams on technical solutions.
- Contribute to development process improvements, CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, technical designs, and architecture reviews.
- Mentor junior developers and troubleshoot complex application, network, and production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.
- 5–7 years of software development experience with Python and/or Java in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience designing, developing, and supporting distributed applications and microservices.
- Proven experience working in telecom networks and services environments.
- Hands-on experience with the software development lifecycle, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and system architecture.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
