Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for PAM workflows.
  • Build reusable automation libraries for API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Automate credential rotation, access provisioning, session management, authentication, and identity workflows.
  • Validate workflows across OAuth, SAML, SSO, SSH, RDP, and similar protocols.
  • Build and maintain automation for backend services, APIs, and cloud-hosted systems.
  • Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
  • Manage containerized test environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Investigate automation failures, perform root-cause analysis, and improve long-term stability.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Security, and Product teams to embed testability into system design.
  • Contribute to organization-wide quality engineering standards and automation best practices.
  • Use Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI-assisted tools to support test development, debugging, analysis, documentation, and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in test automation, quality engineering, or software development in test.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience designing and building automation frameworks or test systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright or Pytest and testing APIs, distributed systems, and security-sensitive workflows.
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
  • Understanding of OAuth, SAML, and identity providers, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system interactions and automation failures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence quality practices across teams.
  • Ability and willingness to use AI-assisted tools for test automation, debugging, technical analysis, and documentation.
  • Experience with privileged access management or identity-centric security products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud or security automation frameworks, SSH, RDP, VNC, automation metrics, or observability systems is preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to the role’s FedRAMP compliance requirements.
