Base Salary
$140k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate software modules and SDKs at the system or application level and build customer proof-of-concept prototypes.
- Plan customer POCs, estimate effort and non-recurring engineering costs, and forecast resources.
- Troubleshoot and debug software integration issues and optimize integrated system performance.
- Triage customer-reported technical issues and route them to appropriate stakeholders.
- Present demonstrations and architecture solutions to customers and partners.
- Provide remote and onsite customer integration support and manage feature requests.
- Manage external vendors and oversee project scope, timing, and deliverables.
- Coordinate technical communication among customers, partners, and internal cross-functional teams.
- Create training and guidance materials for customer-facing teams, customers, and partners.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Software, QA, and technical program management teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Seven or more years of experience in data communication, networking, or the automotive industry.
- Solid C/C++ and embedded systems programming experience.
- Experience with Linux, Android, and/or other POSIX operating systems.
- Experience with systems integration, platform-dependent integration and development, multithreading, and concurrent programming.
- Proficiency in shell scripting languages and Python.
- Familiarity with software architecture, end-to-end solutions, software configuration management tools, and defect tracking tools.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Preferred: familiarity with Linux and QNX boot sequences, bootloaders, Linux and microcontroller image flashing, Ethernet, CAN bus, TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT, vehicle E/E architecture, and CAN network buses.
