Responsibilities
- Architect and build high-scale backend systems for real-time decision-making, ad delivery, and performance tracking.
- Design efficient REST and GraphQL APIs and integrate with third-party platforms, MMPs, and analytics tools.
- Optimize performance through profiling, caching strategies, and horizontal scaling for high-throughput systems.
- Contribute to containerized deployments and observability using Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring stacks.
- Mentor engineers, guide architecture reviews, and promote clean, scalable technical design.
- Collaborate with product and data teams to deliver features that improve campaign effectiveness and advertiser ROI.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience, including at least 2+ years in high-volume, data-rich environments.
- Strong Python expertise and production experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of API design, backend integration, distributed systems, queues, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong performance tuning and scaling skills for latency-sensitive, high-throughput systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.
- AdTech experience involving ad serving logic, tracking systems, fraud prevention, or real-time bidding is a significant advantage.
