Responsibilities
- Build and enhance Kota’s API and embedded products for scale.
- Architect and implement new features for customer-facing APIs and SDKs.
- Transform inefficient internal workflows into self-service customer features.
- Own incident response and lead technical efforts to resolve customer-reported issues.
- Research and implement product and process improvements.
- Collaborate with product, design, engineering, integrations, and benefits teams to deliver customer value.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building backend systems.
- Expertise with .NET, SQL databases, ORM frameworks, and automated test frameworks.
- Cloud experience with Azure or AWS.
- Experience building API products in fintech, payroll, or benefits is preferred.
- Experience collaborating directly with product teams and designers and delivering value to customers or users.
- Availability for at least five hours of overlap with GMT working hours.
- Strong collaboration and complex problem-solving skills.
