Responsibilities
- Modernize the FX trade processing platform and support migration to the strategic risk platform.
- Build and integrate trade feed, reconciliation, and control components.
- Improve build, deployment, cloud adoption, automated testing, and environment management practices.
- Reduce regression testing duration and enable parallel testing across projects.
- Develop Java applications and ensure designs follow the overall architecture blueprint.
- Define standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Resolve complex, high-impact business and system process problems through analysis and innovative solutions.
- Champion best practices across the FX developer community and coach junior team members and analysts.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience is required.
- Advanced Java development experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, and OAuth is required.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience, is required.
- Thorough knowledge of clean code practices and test-driven development.
- Experience with Gradle or Maven and solid Linux/Unix skills.
- Experience with Jenkins or TeamCity build platforms.
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka, OpenShift, and Docker is advantageous.
- Exposure to Grafana and OpenTelemetry or similar observability tools.
- Experience with orchestration frameworks such as Conductor or Temporal is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI is sought.
- Strong understanding of system flow, architecture, infrastructure integration, and complex business processes.
