Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate scalable full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot microservices, and Angular.
  • Develop and operate cloud-native services on Azure Kubernetes Service, including configuration, deployment, scaling, and observability.
  • Implement high-availability and high-throughput distributed-system patterns such as circuit breakers, back-pressure, idempotency, retries, and graceful degradation.
  • Apply secure coding, secrets management, and NIST 800-53-aligned compliance controls.
  • Build streaming and event-driven integrations and APIs, and instrument services for performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with product, architecture, and platform teams on end-to-end delivery, code reviews, technical design, and performance tuning.
  • Drive quality through test-driven development, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Use AI-assisted development for code generation, test creation, refactoring, and documentation while maintaining software quality and security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Typically 5–9 years of experience.
  • Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, APIs, and Angular front-end development.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating workloads in Azure Kubernetes Service, with familiarity with containers, orchestration, and cloud networking.
  • Proven distributed-systems design skills, including fault tolerance, scalability, and resilience engineering.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps, secure coding, and NIST 800-53 controls.
  • Experience with Kafka or other event and streaming platforms, plus performance optimization and profiling.
  • Working knowledge of test-driven development, automated testing, and CI/CD toolchains.
  • Curiosity, ownership, and a client-focused approach to delivery.
