Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of scalable Java applications supporting Solera’s products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance complex features.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Conduct code reviews and establish software development best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications to maintain performance and reliability.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of professional experience in Java development.
- In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot and API development.
- Proficiency with Git and Maven.
- Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving, technology, innovation, and English communication skills.
- Experience with React or Angular is preferred.
- Familiarity with modern web development practices and tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of Domain Driven Design, Event Driven, Microservices, and Hexagonal Architectures is preferred.
- Experience in a Scrum or Agile environment is preferred.
- Expertise in DevOps and Continuous Delivery or Deployment is preferred.
