Responsibilities
- Deliver DevOps and Terraform work on large-scale, eCommerce, enterprise, and multi-industry software projects.
- Create and maintain virtual and physical environments for development, QA, staging, pre-production, and live systems.
- Implement infrastructure as code, configuration management, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment.
- Configure and operate application stacks, databases, operating systems, containers, cloud platforms, and monitoring tools.
- Write code and scripts and support development pipelines and external application integrations.
- Coach and mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote DevOps engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with IT operations, digital delivery teams, stakeholders, and one or multiple clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience in DevOps, Terraform, and developer roles in an agile context.
- Expertise in continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment.
- Experience with system administration, programming and scripting, infrastructure as code, configuration management, and monitoring.
- Experience with some of the listed operating systems, application stacks, relational and NoSQL databases, containerization platforms, IaaS/PaaS, and monitoring tools.
- Helpful qualifications include networking knowledge, development pipeline experience, stakeholder management, coaching and mentoring, professional services or client-facing experience, and project management skills.
