Base Salary
$110k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver AI-driven enterprise-quality software applications.
- Build scalable applications integrating LLMs, voice recognition, document parsing, image parsing, text-to-speech, and RAG into new and legacy codebases.
- Design and optimize data pipelines and datasets for AI development and testing.
- Develop prompts, prompt libraries, caching strategies, AI agents, copilot experiences, and autonomous workflows.
- Fine-tune and serve GPT-family and Llama models and benchmark their performance.
- Build RAG systems using vector databases and tools such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- Optimize LLM costs through prompt caching, batching, and quantization.
- Document code and applications and collaborate with staff, stakeholders, DevOps, and product management teams.
Requirements
- At least four years of software development experience.
- At least four years of experience developing AI-enhanced applications using LLMs, voice, image, or speech models.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Python and AI libraries such as OpenAI, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Proficiency with AI system evaluation metrics including precision, recall, F1-score, and AUC-ROC, as well as MLOps for scalable AI deployment.
- Experience building RAG systems and using vector databases, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
- Experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Codeium/Windsurf.
- Deep understanding of LLM model selection and tuning, including GPT-3.5, GPT-4, and o1 or other thinking models.
- Preferred experience with Node.js and Express.js, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Preferred experience with Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Healthcare domain expertise and the ability to translate clinical or business needs into AI solutions are preferred.
