Responsibilities
- Develop cloud streaming technology for VDI experiences.
- Design tools and techniques to analyze and improve visual quality and responsiveness.
- Implement, optimize, debug, profile, refactor, and reuse code for performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements, dependencies, design documents, project plans, and release plans.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual, participate in on-call monitoring, and help restore services during incidents.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and technical engineering experience with coding, focused specifically on C++, or equivalent experience.
- Strong C++ development and debugging skills.
- Preferred experience developing, debugging, profiling, and optimizing code on hardware platforms running Windows.
- Preferred experience with operating-system networking stacks, video codecs, and low-latency high-throughput video encoding and decoding.
- Preferred experience applying machine learning to networking and/or video/audio.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment on a shared codebase.
Benefits
- The typical base pay range in Germany is €71,700.00–€121,100.00 per year.
