Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks and testing strategies for complex, cross-team features.
- Own the automation roadmap for one or more modules, including goals, execution plans, and success metrics.
- Anticipate risks, identify testability gaps, and drive continuous improvements in quality and efficiency.
- Build and maintain functional, performance, and security automation tools integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and technical program management teams to ensure comprehensive coverage and reliable releases.
- Mentor SDETs and engineers on automation design and code quality.
- Champion test design, observability, and automation standards across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in SDET contributions and tooling.
- Advanced proficiency in testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and debugging techniques.
- Experience building and maintaining test infrastructure across multiple platforms and services.
- Strong command of algorithms, data structures, databases, and scripting languages including SQL, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, performance tools, and monitoring systems.
- Deep understanding of API and backend testing, ideally with AWS and Kafka or Kinesis.
- Hands-on experience setting up performance, load, and stress test infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud-native QA automation architecture and tool implementation is preferred.
- Working knowledge of event-driven systems, distributed test environments, observability, and monitoring tools is preferred.
