Responsibilities
- Lead features from initial design and development through post-production validation.
- Mentor engineers through technical workshops, pair programming, and active support.
- Define and uphold company-wide code-review standards and engineering best practices.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for high-priority issues and participate in the on-call rotation.
- Conduct technical interviews and evaluate development tools and processes.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, design scalable systems, and write clean code.
- Ability to involve others in design decisions, delegate responsibility, and help a squad grow.
- Ability to address quality issues candidly and improve engineering standards collaboratively.
- Ability to remain calm and effective during complex, ambiguous technical challenges.
- Genuine interest in investments and fintech and awareness of current engineering trends.
