Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, deploy, and support complex software components and services.
- Implement advanced features and enhancements using coding standards, architectural patterns, and development best practices.
- Lead code reviews and provide feedback on code quality, maintainability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to plan and execute technical initiatives.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software defects and production issues using root-cause analysis.
- Apply secure coding practices, testing strategies, documentation standards, and organizational software-quality guidelines.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
- Contribute to existing frameworks, tools, and technologies used for application development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field with five years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and training.
- In-depth knowledge of information systems and the ability to apply IT best practices.
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Six Sigma Green Belt, CQIA, or similar process-improvement certification preferred.
- Previous banking or financial-services industry experience preferred.
- Experience working in Agile development environments preferred.
