Responsibilities
- Design and develop profiling, performance analysis, and debugging tool features.
- Collaborate with GPU hardware and software teams on performance validation and analysis.
- Debug issues, optimize the user experience, and work with developers, partners, and OEMs.
- Contribute to graphics developer tools spanning user interfaces through graphics driver instrumentation.
- Help developers optimize applications for Snapdragon Adreno GPUs and gain insight into next-generation GPU hardware design.
- Guide and mentor engineers, drive projects to completion, and uphold quality and innovation standards.
Requirements
- At least two years of professional experience is listed among the ideal-candidate qualifications.
- Extensive programming knowledge in C/C++ and deep knowledge of GPU hardware and graphics concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus two or more years of software engineering or related experience; alternatively, a master’s degree plus one or more years, or a PhD in a related field.
- At least two years of academic or work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Preferred experience includes Vulkan, DirectX, Metal, OpenGL, WebGL, Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, OpenCL, CUDA, SYCL, graphics frameworks, GPU computing, real-time graphics, ray tracing, mesh shading, workgraphs, and graphics profilers or debuggers such as Nsight, PIX, GPA, RenderDoc, Radeon Profilers, and GfxReconstruct.
