Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new applications, enhancements, maintenance solutions, and support capabilities.
  • Define application architecture and apply scalable, low-latency, high-throughput distributed application design principles.
  • Provide technical direction to global teams building solutions for Asset Management Technology.
  • Collaborate with partners to iteratively understand requirements and advance the design and development process.
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and ongoing application support.
  • Diagnose and resolve application problems while following Fidelity technology roadmaps, best practices, and methodologies.

Requirements

  • BE or MCA degree and 12+ years of industry experience.
  • Proficiency with Java 17+, Kafka, Spring Boot, MyBatis or Hibernate, Oracle SQL, Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
  • Experience defining application architecture and designing scalable, low-latency, high-throughput distributed applications.
  • Experience working in AWS and with unit testing and test automation tools such as Karate.
  • Understanding of continuous integration concepts and DevOps best practices and tools, including Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, and Jira.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies or iterative development processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of the asset management business domain is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
