Base Salary
$144k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate production infrastructure for distributed multi-node GPU training, checkpointing, fault recovery, and ML experimentation.
- Manage Kubernetes GPU workloads, including scheduling, autoscaling, quotas, and GPU-enabled container runtimes.
- Implement experiment tracking, model registries, dataset and artifact versioning, ML delivery pipelines, automated evaluation gates, and rollback.
- Develop data pipelines and observability for large multimodal datasets, GPU utilization, model drift, and data quality.
- Optimize and deploy models to constrained embedded hardware using quantization, ONNX, TensorRT, and OTA updates.
- Turn research prototypes into supported production systems, mentor engineers, drive practice adoption, and create design documents and runbooks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production infrastructure experience.
- Strong Python and proficiency in at least one systems language: Go, Rust, or C++.
- Expertise in Linux, networking, and full-stack debugging.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code, Terraform or Bicep, containers, and GPU-enabled runtimes.
- Production cloud experience, preferably Azure, including IAM, storage, managed compute, and cost control.
- Experience with Kubernetes and GPU workloads, distributed training infrastructure, MLOps, multimodal data pipelines, and edge deployment.
- Experience optimizing models for constrained targets and awareness of latency constraints in closed-loop control.
- Proven ability to productionize research prototypes, mentor engineers, and drive technical practices across a team.
