Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions across front-end, back-end, and cloud infrastructure.
- Architect and optimize AWS-based cloud environments for scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Develop maintainable applications using modern frameworks and languages including React, Angular, Node.js, Java, and Python.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to deliver robust, user-friendly applications.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams on coding, testing, and architecture best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and implement monitoring and observability solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend architecture and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of full stack development experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or principal role.
- Strong proficiency with React, Angular, or Vue and back-end technologies including Node.js, Java, or Python.
- Expertise with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and CloudFormation.
- Experience with relational databases such as Postgres or Oracle.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of mock frameworks and service virtualization is preferred.
- Experience designing, implementing, or maintaining systems supporting Term Life Insurance operations is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders and contribute beyond primary tasking.
