Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise front-end and back-end applications using MVC, micro front-end, microservice, and web technologies.
- Participate in architecture design teams and define application-level architecture for complex projects and subsystems.
- Build RESTful APIs and develop Java/J2EE applications using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, REST, SOAP, and Apigee.
- Develop high-volume transaction-based batch processing and event-driven applications.
- Deploy and operate enterprise applications across Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
- Implement application observability, monitoring, alerts, distributed tracing, and log and telemetry streaming.
- Configure continuous builds, automated deployments, and CI/CD testing practices.
- Lead project life-cycle planning, schedules, assignments, risk management, and delivery across multiple projects.
- Review test plans, recommend development testing tools and methodologies, and ensure software deliverables are QA-ready.
- Advise senior management on technical strategy, resolve business and technology issues, provide technical estimates, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in one of these fields and three years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience must include developing fund information platforms in the banking and financial domain.
- Expertise with Java/J2EE, Core Java, EJB, JMS, JAX-RS, JPA, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, REST, SOAP, and Apigee.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS, SCSS, Web Components, Angular, Vue.js, Bootstrap, and responsive UI design.
- Experience with ORM frameworks, Oracle, DB2, SQL, and migrating mainframe applications to distributed applications.
- Experience deploying Java applications to Linux and using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Artifactory, Groovy, Azure DevOps Services, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Datadog, Splunk, and Dynatrace for logging, telemetry, observability, monitoring, alerting, and distributed tracing.
- Ability to lead complex technical projects, conduct architecture and technical analysis, manage risks, and mentor junior engineers.
