Responsibilities
- Design and implement application-level architectures and complex distributed software systems.
- Develop applications, components, and subsystems across multiple platforms using cloud-native and enterprise technologies.
- Define technical direction, reference architectures, engineering patterns, and platform modernization strategies.
- Coordinate project schedules, assignments, lifecycle plans, risks, budgets, and delivery goals across multiple projects.
- Diagnose production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve system reliability, security, and resilience.
- Review test plans, recommend development and testing tools and methodologies, and ensure QA readiness and production sign-off.
- Provide technical estimates, resolve business and technology issues, and act as a liaison with business units.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and mentor junior team members.
- Advise senior management on technical strategy and perform complex technical and functional analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields and three years of relevant experience.
- Five years of experience developing and deploying applications on Salesforce CRM Platform, or three years with a master’s degree, including configuration, programmatic customization, Jenkins, and Git.
- Expertise customizing SDL Tridion with .NET, Java, C#, and Core Tridion APIs.
- Experience with J2EE object-oriented development, enterprise integration patterns, JSON/XML, Spring Framework, Visual Studio .NET, Java, and JavaScript.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on Apache Tomcat, WebSphere application server, and Apache HTTP Server.
- Experience with business acceptance testing and production support using OBIEE, Oracle, Cucumber, Karate, Selenium, Protractor, Angular, Java, and Oracle.
- Experience across the software development lifecycle using C++, Python, and SQL in a Linux environment.
- Experience with software testing using Python and shell scripting and providing Level 3 production support.
- Ability to lead complex technical initiatives, advise management, coordinate projects, and mentor junior engineers.
