Responsibilities
- Define and implement application-level architecture for complex software applications and subsystems.
- Develop Java and Spring Boot microservices and Angular front-end applications.
- Design and maintain deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, configurations, logs, and system metrics.
- Participate in architecture teams, recommend development and testing tools, and validate test plans and QA readiness.
- Plan and coordinate complex project schedules, assignments, risks, budgets, and delivery goals.
- Provide technical analysis and solutions, resolve business-unit technology issues, and advise senior management on technical strategy.
- Create documentation, perform application support, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields and three years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing complex web applications using Angular, Node, and Java.
- Demonstrated expertise with Java, Spring Boot, Docker, RESTful services, Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, Git, Jenkins, uDeploy, GitHub, Splunk, Maven, NPM, Jira, JavaScript, and SonarQube.
- Experience with software development and testing in a financial services environment and across the full software and product development lifecycle.
- Experience with Agile software methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, application deployment, configuration management, monitoring, and CI tooling.
- Ability to perform complex technical and functional analysis, develop creative solutions, influence architecture decisions, and mentor junior engineers.
Benefits
