Responsibilities
- Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives, projects, and technical deliverables.
- Design, build, code, configure, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy ServiceNow solutions.
- Automate service-delivery processes through ServiceNow workflows and platform functionality.
- Develop ServiceNow scripts, integrations, reports, dashboards, business rules, policies, and conversational interfaces.
- Integrate Generative AI capabilities into ServiceNow for intelligent recommendations, summarization, and enhanced Virtual Agent interactions.
- Analyze business and user requirements and transform them into actionable technical specifications.
- Perform unit and integration testing, develop automation scripts, and coordinate quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
- Implement, maintain, and improve ServiceNow platform technologies, workflows, integrations, and CMDB capabilities.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, managers, and cross-functional distributed teams.
- Lead projects, act as an escalation point, and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, Agile team activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow ServiceNow development and integration best practices.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 4 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- At least 4 years of experience with CMDB and ServiceNow platform technologies, workflows, and integrations.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow Flow Designer, JavaScript scripting, REST/SOAP integrations, and ServiceNow architecture.
- Experience with Glide APIs such as GlideRecord and GlideForm.
- Experience building and managing ServiceNow reports and dashboards.
- Experience with scripting languages and technologies such as JavaScript, Glide, and Jelly, plus Business Rules, UI Policies, and Data Policies.
- Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework; automation testing is a plus.
- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into enterprise platforms and familiarity with Virtual Agent Designer and conversational interfaces.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or higher certification.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Implementation Specialist certification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal communication, coordination, and collaboration skills.
