Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and long-term technical roadmap for a modern microservices architecture.
- Utilize AI coding assistants to automate tasks and enhance team productivity.
- Drive technical excellence and make critical architectural decisions across teams.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to create developer-first APIs based on regulatory needs.
- Mentor senior engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and lead the team through production incidents.
- Communicate complex technical strategies through high-quality documentation.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in designing and developing high-scale, secure cloud-native systems.
- Expert proficiency in Java or Go, with deep knowledge of AWS ecosystems.
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure and microservices patterns.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to accelerate software delivery.
- Proven track record of building high-volume public-facing APIs.
- Experience with high-throughput data processing and storage solutions.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Ability to influence technical strategy across multiple teams.
