Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable Go-based software for Kubernetes products.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, deployment, maintenance, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
- Deploy and troubleshoot applications on Kubernetes, including logs, events, and pod lifecycles.
- Set up monitoring and alerting, automate repetitive operational tasks, and participate in on-call incident response.
- Contribute to the technical vision and roadmap and maintain high standards for infrastructure-as-code.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Go and comfort writing automation scripts.
- Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes and troubleshooting logs, events, and pod lifecycles.
- Understanding of uptime, monitoring, and alerting for service health.
- A reliability mindset and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Experience or strong interest in writing Kubernetes Operators and Controllers in Go.
- Knowledge of SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, error budgets, large-scale distributed clusters, code reviews, and infrastructure-as-code is preferred.
