Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable Function-as-a-Service platform components using Golang and/or Rust.
- Collaborate on secure, container-based runtime environments for serverless functions.
- Participate in requirements analysis, deployment, maintenance, and the broader software development lifecycle.
- Conduct code reviews to promote code quality, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.
- Contribute to design and architecture discussions and advance the FaaS platform’s technical vision and roadmap.
- Build and operate large-scale distributed systems, including monitoring, alerting, and error handling.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Golang and/or Rust.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of serverless computing, FaaS, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native design patterns.
- Familiarity with containerization and virtualization.
- Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with MicroVM technology and related ecosystems such as unikernels, Kata Containers, cloud-hypervisor, Firecracker, QEMU, or KVM is a plus.
