Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance and stable cloud platform capabilities with a focus on networking.
- Contribute networking features, performance improvements, and bug fixes to Open vSwitch, OVN, the Linux Kernel, and OpenStack.
- Conduct detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis to implement resilient solutions.
- Automate and continuously optimize technical process workflows.
- Implement observability using metrics, tracing, and structured logging.
- Take responsibility for the availability and health of production systems.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with software-defined networking technologies such as Open vSwitch, OVN, and Calico.
- Solid experience with Linux and containerization technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Programming or scripting experience in C, C++, Go, Python, or Bash.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and structured diagnostic skills.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in writing and verbally.
- Comfort working proactively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and taking ownership of challenges.
- Collaborative team-player mindset and a strong sense of responsibility for production systems.
