Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product and design teams to understand needs, propose features, create prototypes, and deliver customer-focused experiences.
  • Build and maintain automated sales enablement products, tools, workflows, and backend services for Amazon Advertising.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and conduct peer code reviews.
  • Optimize client and server systems for performance, maintainability, scalability, and extensibility.
  • Propose tools, frameworks, automations, and development processes for the services team.
  • Mentor team members and promote engineering excellence.
  • Learn and apply AI technologies and applications.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices across architecture, source control, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.
