Base Salary
$99k - $144k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain reliable software for identity and access-management systems.
- Build and improve reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure-as-code patterns for cloud platforms and shared services.
- Build and integrate secure cloud services, APIs, and platform capabilities for engineering teams.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to automation and continuous-delivery practices.
- Improve service reliability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, security partners, and other stakeholders.
- Apply secure software-development practices, IAM principles, and Docusign engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; no minimum related experience is required.
- Experience developing software through an internship, academic work, personal projects, or professional experience.
- Experience with at least one modern programming language such as Java, Go, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, software design, and debugging.
- Experience building or consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational or non-relational data stores.
- Preferred familiarity with Terraform, infrastructure-as-code practices, cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.
- Preferred familiarity with identity and access-management concepts including authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
- Preferred exposure to observability tools and practices including metrics, logs, traces, and alerting.
- Preferred experience with Agile or iterative software-development environments and interest in security engineering, distributed systems, or platform engineering.
