Responsibilities
- Define automation test strategies for critical product features and AI-powered solutions.
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for builds and deployments.
- Perform functional, non-functional, API, UI, manual, and debugging activities.
- Create test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
- Identify, analyze, document, and resolve defects in collaboration with development teams.
- Perform root-cause analysis of failed tests and drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Development, UX, QA, and other engineering teams.
- Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, automation roadmaps, and long-term technical strategy.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions.
- Manage test environments and maintain technical documentation.
- Apply AI-powered tools and AI testing approaches to accelerate automation development and execution.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software test automation experience, preferably with complex web applications.
- Strong C# automation experience is preferred; Java experience with willingness to learn C# is also accepted.
- Proficiency in .NET, object-oriented programming, software design, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Experience developing automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Experience with functional and non-functional testing, API testing, UI testing, manual testing, and defect analysis.
- Basic understanding of SQL database technologies and ability to write or understand basic SQL.
- Understanding of integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Thorough knowledge of quality assurance concepts, test planning, test cases, and automation best practices.
- Experience managing test environments and understanding end-to-end application flows and impact analysis.
- Understanding of AI testing and experience with AI tools such as Copilot.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, solve problems, communicate effectively, and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Ability to mentor junior developers or engineers and lead technical discussions.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum processes.
