Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for software functionality and quality standards.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate on requirements analysis, design discussions, acceptance criteria, code reviews, and defect resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide developers with detailed information to resolve defects.
- Contribute to testing-process improvement, technology communities, knowledge sharing, risk mitigation, and control strengthening.
- Lead complex assignments or guide team members, communicate complex information, and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
Requirements
- Professional knowledge and skills sufficient to perform complex software testing and quality activities.
- Ability to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, define acceptance criteria, and conduct root cause analysis.
- Ability to collaborate with developers and cross-functional stakeholders and communicate complex information.
- Ability to manage risk, strengthen controls, and contribute to policies and procedures.
- For people leadership responsibilities, ability to set objectives, coach employees, and appraise performance; individual contributors must be able to lead collaborative assignments and guide team members.
