Base Salary

$160k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead solution design and architecture for complex cross-functional data and AI problems from discovery through technical blueprint.
  • Select tools and architectures across varied platforms, data sources, and integration patterns, and communicate trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Design scalable, modular, reliable, secure, and maintainable systems and produce architecture diagrams, data-flow maps, API contracts, and solution briefs.
  • Build production-ready solutions using AI coding assistants, including custom plugins and skills.
  • Redesign data pipelines and data flows, integrate sources, implement transformations, and deliver downstream data products.
  • Deploy and operate AI agents and multi-agent systems through AWS Bedrock AgentCore.
  • Implement and extend Model Context Protocol servers and clients to connect agents with enterprise tools, APIs, and data sources.
  • Develop evaluation harnesses, guardrails, and monitoring pipelines for agent reliability and safety.
  • Build intuitive front-end interfaces and dashboards for business users.
  • Define delivery practices, playbooks, architecture patterns, and reference designs adopted across teams.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point, mentor engineers, advise on roadmap priorities, and influence stakeholders across multiple teams.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of software engineering experience, including substantial customer-facing or embedded technical delivery experience.
  • Strong software architecture experience across varied tools and platforms.
  • Hands-on use of Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as a primary development workflow; custom plugin or skill development is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents on AWS Bedrock AgentCore is required.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Model Context Protocol server and client systems is required.
  • Experience building and redesigning data pipelines and data flows across varied sources.
  • Full-stack proficiency across backend services, APIs, and front-end interfaces or dashboards.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and defining technical standards adopted beyond the individual's own work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent stakeholder relationships.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
