Base Salary
$188k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own foundational platforms and frameworks for operational excellence.
- Lead technical strategy and execution for internal tooling to improve delivery velocity.
- Partner with service owners to translate reliability requirements into automation capabilities.
- Build systems for observability, alerting, and automated remediation.
- Participate in incident response to improve systems and reduce operational load.
- Mentor engineers on platform ownership and sustainable production practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building and operating distributed systems or cloud platforms.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex production failures across services and infrastructure.
- Strong programming experience in Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Deep expertise in cloud-native platforms and distributed systems, especially Kubernetes.
- Advanced experience with observability and incident practices.
- Proven ability to lead large technical efforts and influence outcomes across teams.
