Responsibilities
- Design and implement CSDM frameworks, service models, data taxonomies, and service mappings across client ServiceNow instances.
- Own CMDB data quality through CI lifecycle management, reconciliation, deduplication, normalization, health monitoring, and data integrity controls.
- Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to populate the CMDB and maintain application-to-infrastructure dependency maps.
- Drive CSDM adoption by aligning legacy data, resolving structural gaps, and establishing governance practices with client stakeholders.
- Integrate CSDM and CMDB data with ITSM, ITOM, workflows, and reporting dashboards.
- Collaborate with architects, ITOM specialists, ITSM process owners, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience designing, implementing, and governing ServiceNow CSDM across enterprise environments.
- Solid CMDB expertise, including CI lifecycle management, CMDB health assessments, data reconciliation, deduplication, and normalization.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM capabilities, specifically Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- ServiceNow platform configuration proficiency, including JavaScript and Glide Script scripting and relevant integration patterns.
- Strong communication skills for explaining data modeling and governance concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS-ITOM, CIS-ITSM, or a CSDM Micro-Certification are preferred.
- Experience with large-scale CMDB remediation, CSDM transformation, data governance, ITIL-aligned processes, HRSD, SecOps, GRC, or client-facing consulting is preferred.
